I’m a proud father of 3 wonderful kids and a blessed husband of Joy, the love of my life. I love sitting in a boat on a quiet lake with my line in the water. Even if I never caught a thing, that’s my Xanadu. I spend a great deal of time singing in choirs and quartets for my church which is my extended family. I love to teach and instruct. To me, there’s nothing cooler than watching the light go off when someone I’m teaching learns something new. Yep, I like the simpler things in life.

Professional Experience

Based on my previous professional experiences in the home building industry and in the Internet Marketing business I could only conclude: Home builders have been underestimated and overlooked when it comes to online marketing and sales generation services. That revelation has brought me to where I am now—partner at The Builder Matrix. I am proud to lead a team skilled in providing Internet and social marketing solutions crafted specifically for the serious home building pro.I began my career in Phoenix, Arizona (where I was born and raised) as a custom kitchen designer working exclusively with high-end custom home builders. That experience offered me the opportunity to work in cooperation with a variety of industry pros, including the home builder and other tradespeople, to deliver the best possible product I could to the home buyer.

In 2006 I was hired into the position of Regional Marketing Director for NewHomesDirectory.com, an online directory for the home building industry, and relocated to Seattle, Washington. While serving in that role I quickly discovered I had a knack for Internet marketing and social media.
My role at NHD.com included:

Work one-on-one with home builders nationwide to develop their internet presence
Development and execution of marketing strategies for new and untapped markets
Development of NHD’s social presence via LinkedIn and Facebook
Creation and moderation of NHD’s LinkedIn Group
Creation and moderation of NHD’s Facebook page

Today, NewHomesDirectory.com is a leading online destination and draws as many as 30,000 unique visitors per month. It provides frequently updated listings and specific market information for potential home buyers.

Additionally I have:

Served as moderator for the building industry’s first-ever dedicated social media outlet—NewHomesPro.net;
Interviewed some of the brightest minds in the industry—New Homes Professional Network Member Forum.
